Bernice was a longtime member of Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church where she volunteered on the wedding planning committee. She was active in her Bentley Village community and participated in bridge games and flower arranging as her hobbies. In retirement she enjoyed traveling and especially loved her cruises.
Bernice was predeceased by her husband, George Grossteiner and her three brothers. Services will be held privately amongst her close friends.
