Betty Yerger, 81, of Naples, FL., passed away on May 10, 2011 after a brief illness. She was born on May 5, 1930 in Pottstown, PA to the late Pearl and Norman Stetler.
Betty was an energetic and well-loved Naples resident for over 30 years. In addition to spending more than 44 years with Bell and United Telephone Companies, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Betty loved to travel, cook Pennsylvania Dutch food, and spend time with friends and family. She was a competitive Mahjong player and also was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Daniel Yerger; her sons, Douglass (Kathy) Yerger of Pottstown, PA and Dwight (Linda) Yerger of Naples, FL; her grandchildren, Mark (Laura) Yerger, Denise Tyler, Drew Yerger, and Dwayne Yerger; and one great grandson, Cole Tyler. A visitation will be held from 11-12 pm Monday, May 16th followed by a funeral service at 12 PM at Hodges Funeral Home, 525 111th Ave., N, Naples, FL
