

He was born in Albany, NY on July 15th, 1963. Brendan was a charismatic, fun loving gentleman with the biggest heart and friends with all. He worked most of his career self-employed within the drywall industry. In Florida, many friends knew him from tending bar at Zookie’s Sports Pub & Grill.
Brendan had a passion for Irish music, the outdoors and horse racing. He loved singing, fishing off the Gulf Coast, visiting the Everglades and traveling up to New York in the summer.
Brendan is the son of John and Eleanor Dewey. He was survived by his sons Sean and his wife Lindsay of Ballston Spa, NY; Brendan and his wife Jessica of Waterford, NY; his grandchildren Lillian, Reese, Quinn, and Ian; his mother Eleanor of Naples, FL; his brothers Sean of Grand Gorge, NY; Brian and his wife Rita of West Sand Lake, NY; George and his wife Dawn of Simpsonville, SC; Robert and his wife Claire of Clifton Park, NY; Kevin and his wife Jessica of NY; his sisters Noreen of Clifton Park, NY; and Tara of Clifton Park, NY. He also leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends.
In Florida a Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, April 13th, 2017 at 11am at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens (525 111th Avenue North, Naples, FL 34108).
In New York a Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 19th, 2017 from 4-8pm at Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home (1550 Route Nine, Clifton Park, NY 12065) and a Funeral Service to take place on Thursday, April 20th, 2017 at 9:30am at St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church (119 Broad St, Waterford, NY 12188) with a Burial to follow at St Mary’s Cemetery.
