As defacto "cousins-in-law" of Peter, our hearts are filled with love at this surreal time - for Peter, for his family and for all who knew the clearly beloved and beautiful-in-all-ways Carmen Rodriguez-Reyes. Though I was not gifted with meeting this wonderful woman, it was easy to see the light of her legacy of love in her son's eyes that she left shining as her glory. May all be comforted by her spirit and the love she leaves as her eternal gift. Please accept both my and my husband Ira's wishes that Carmen Rodriguez-Reyes' name be a blessing forever after.

My condolences to my cousins Peter, Carlos, Oscar and family. My aunt was a beautiful and special lady. I remember growing up in New York my grandmother who is her sister would take my sister and me on the weekends to visit. We would go to church together and had my sister and I sing at the front for everyone. We enjoyed spending time with her watching her black and white classic movies. But what I loved the most was her laughter it was contagious!! She was a happy and fun aunt to be around. She will be missed greatly but not forgotten. Until we meet again, love you Tia Cambucha.
