Carole truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures: dancing, playing bridge, playing games, needlepoint, reading, socializing, shopping, attending FGCU Women’s Basketball games, and giving gifts to everyone! Carole was a beautiful, outgoing, wonderful, caring person and nice to everyone. She was always happy, considerate and everyone was glad to be around her. She always said she had the best husband and lived a fabulous life.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the employees of Hope Hospice, Home Instead, and to their 2nd family, residents and employees of the Worthington Country Club for their service and support.

Sending virtual hugs and prayers to Carole’s family. We all have a big hole in our hearts right now. Carole was bigger than life. She always reached for the golden ring seeking to live life to the fullest. In her memory we must smile, laugh, share love with one another, give fully to others and be the best we can be.

To Carole’s dearest and most adored grandchildren Parker, Halle and Caitlin, you have a heavenly angel watching over you. You’ve had the best example of how to live life with positive perspective leaning in. I know you’ve received the message and will carry it forward. To Stacie and Shelley, you have been wonderful daughters and have been present to become the parent to your mother when she needed your help. Sandy, glad you’re there to support the family.

Andy, we’ve got your back. We and the community are here for you. Sending our love to all of you. Carole now has earned her pink wings and is dancing in the streets of heaven. 🦩🦩🦩

We called her Mama Carole. She was always there to take care of her extended family at Worthington. It will be difficult for all of us to adjust to the new reality. May you rest in peace.

I am so grateful and honored to have known Carole the last 3 years.. She was so friendly to us when my husband and I moved to Worthington and she was quick to make us feel welcome and included us in the festivities of the club.. We were always pretty much the last couples to leave the dance floor 😃She said on numerous occasions “ dancing and music “ are my happy place! I totally agree! She and I also enjoyed many lunches and great movies together . She was always smiling and positive and a very thoughtful person, as she loved to send cards and give gifts . She never forgot birthdays and anniversaries , as she was very organized and had everything written down in her datebook.. Her social calendar was full of activities with friends, husband Andy, or family.
I am so sad for the loss of such a wonderful friend. My heart breaks for her family and may they feel Gods PEACE AND LOVE during this most difficult time.
