She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Donald E. “Don” Stone. They were married on June 5th, 1954, in Brasher Falls, NY.
She is survived by her four children and their spouses, Jeffrey (Diane) of Mechanicville, NY; Don, Jr. (Leslie) of McLean, VA; Elizabeth “Betsy” (Phil Morrow) of Naples, FL; and Scott (Kristine) of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by 6 granddaughters and 5 great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her two sisters, Marion Frier and Helen Ruddy, and her brother John Dullea.
Kay led a full life. She grew up on a farm in the North Country of upstate New York and spent more than 28 years of her adult life in Malone, NY. During the 1980s, she moved with her husband to Clifton Park, NY, and then Norwich, NY, as she supported his banking career. Kay and Don moved to Quail Creek Estates in Naples, FL, in 1991 and she continued to live there until the end of her life.
Services will be private for the family, with a Celebration of Life planned in the near future in Naples, Florida
