My friendship with Charlie began in 1974 when he joined Olympia Fields CC. We became the best of friends sharing our passion for golf, skiing, and just the time we shared together for nearly five decades. He was just a great guy, the ‘real deal’. He was a wonderful father and husband who had a fun loving spirit, with a quick wit, and great sense of humor. He shared this joy with all who knew him. Charlie will be greatly missed by his family and all his many friends.
Rest in peace Charlie.

I have known Charlie since the moment I joined Olympia Fields C.C. and the close and friendly association with him was a source of enjoyment to me as well as everyone at the club.
Charlie was loved by all and he always had a friendly word for everyone. His wonderful disposition was a inspiration to us all. He will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends.
My thoughts are with the family and I extend my deepest sympathy.
