

Charles (“Chuck”) Mazzoni, Jr., 91, of Naples, FL, peacefully passed away on August 17, 2021. Chuck was born on February 3, 1930, to Charles Anthony Mazzoni, Sr. and Anna (Loffredo) Mazzoni in Chicago, IL.
Chuck graduated from the University of Illinois with a BS Degree in Chemical Engineering with Bronze Tablet Honors. After graduation, Chuck was in the research department at Sinclair Oil Corporation. During that time, he attended school at the University of Chicago in their MBA program. Upon obtaining his MBA, he went on to have a 25-year career at Teepak International (Continental Can), ultimately becoming the Vice-President of International Sales. After leaving Teepak, he went on to be a very successful real estate agent for RE/MAX.
On May 22, 1954, he married the love of his life, Gloria (Podgorny) Mazzoni sharing over 67 years of marriage. Chuck and Gloria began their marriage in Harvey, Illinois and then in Orland Park, Illinois where they were blessed with their children Lisa and Jeff. In the early 1990s they began to spend time in Naples during the winter months and later moved from Orland Park to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin where they spent their summer months.
Chuck cherished his family and grandchildren instilling his strong Catholic faith and values. He had a knack for coming up with unique ideas to solve any problem. He was known for his determination, witty sense of humor, willingness to help others, and genuine interest in others, especially his children and grandchildren. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Gloria, and their two children, Lisa (John) McKune and Jeff (Adrienn) Mazzoni, and his 7 grandchildren: John (fiancé Abby Sensabaugh) McKune, Michael McKune, Charlie McKune, Luke McKune, Sophia Mazzoni, Nathalia Mazzoni and Nico Mazzoni. He is also survived by his brother Fred (Sharon) Mazzoni and many nieces and nephews.
A private Mass of Catholic Burial will be held for the family at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on September 25, 2021, with interment following at Naples Memorial Gardens. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist church for extended family and friends at a later date.
