Charlie was born January 7, 1964 in Pinehurst, North Carolina to Jane and Chary Ray Myrick.
He was employed by UPS for 15 years and then became interested in non-profit organizations. He was Executive Director of the American Cancer Society, Myrtle Beach, SC, American Heart Association in both Myrtle Beach, SC and Palm Desert, CA. He served as Executive Director of Susan G. Komen chapter in Naples, FL for 6-7 years then joined the Multiple Sclerosis National Foundation in Ft. Lauderdale, FL for a short period prior to his illness.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Ray Myrick.
Survivors are his children, Grant Myrick and Lauren Myrick of NC, his mother, Jane Click and sister Debra Myrick of Plantation, FL.
Services were Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave N, Naples, FL 34108. Interment is in Naples Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
