

Clarence, a long time St. Joseph resident and area businessman was born on July 23rd, 1934. Raised on a farm in Emmett, Kansas, Clarence was the oldest of five brothers.
Rezac, a natural athlete, participated in every sport growing up and worked on the family farm through his high school years. He played football at Benedictine College in Atchison, KS and it was there that he met the love of his life, Rosemary Komer, of St. Joseph. Clarence and Rosemary worked tirelessly building a successful business together. Clarence enjoyed boating, snow skiing, traveling and spending time with his family. Clarence and Rosemary recently celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on April 16.
Mr. Rezac was the former owner/broker of Coldwell Banker General Properties and was very active in the Missouri Association of Realtors over his 40 plus years in real estate. He held many leadership positions at the local and state levels, including President of the St. Joseph Regional Board of Realtors and as the State President of the Missouri Association of Realtors. Rezac was also appointed as a Commissioner for the Missouri Real Estate Commission.
Mr. Rezac also served in numerous positions in various civic and business organizations including the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art Board and Advisory Director of the Nodaway Valley Bank. Mr. Rezac was active in his church parish, Our Lady of Guadalupe, serving on the Finance Committee and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree and various other committees over the years.
Clarence loved his family, he was proud of his wife, Rosemary, his daughter, Renee and son-in-law, Bud and his two grandchildren, Sarah and Tripp.
Clarence is preceded in death by his parents Clarence, Sr and Agnes (Stueve) Rezac as well as his brother Richard Rezac. Clarence is survived by his wife Rosemary, Naples, FL, daughter Renee (Bud) Potts, Key Biscayne, FL; two grandchildren: Dr. Sarah Potts, Salt Lake City, UT; Tripp Potts, New York, NY; and Brothers: Jim (Virginia) Rezac, Manhattan, KS; Galen (Patty) Rezac, Emmett, KS; and Tom (Nancy) Rezac, Emmett, KS; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be a private family event at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Naples, FL.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Memorial Mass on June 23rd at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in St. Joseph, Missouri. Family will receive friends from 9:30am until Mass at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Clarence are suggested to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church or to the charity of the donors’ choice.
