Claude was born October 31, 1953 in Nice, France.
Claude graduated with a degree in hotel management and Culinary Arts which was followed by three years of apprenticeship. His specialty was sauces.
Claude was a exceptional chef and he touched the hearts and palates of many through his cooking career. Over the course of 45 years his positions included working for Jean-Pierre Restaurant, Chez Emile and The White House in Washington, DC. He was the owner and head chef of two restaurants including Cafe des Artists in Key West, FL and Voila in Frederick, Maryland.
Those who knew Claude well knew he was not a fan of the cold weather. He eventually settled in Naples, FL where he worked as executive chef at the Chardonnay Restaurant for over 10 years. He retired from the Port Royal Country Club in May of 2021.
Claude received recognition on multiple occasions including: Best Overall Chef, Maryland (1992), Epicurean Club (1992), Disciples of August Escoffier (1995), International Award of Excellence, Chardonnay Restaurant, Naples, Florida (1998 & 1999).
Throughout his life Claude was passionate about all sports. He played tennis and golf and was a avid fan of the Miami Dolphins. He enjoyed living a quiet life and spent most of his off time at the beach or relaxing with close friends and family. Many would describe Claude as kind, generous and a doting father.
Claude is survived by Maryvonne Molineri, his sister and best friend and her husband Michel Molineri. Nathalie Molineri his niece, and her children Alissia and Bastien. Audrey Molineri his niece and Goddaughter, and her children Charline and Ethan. Alain Ferrari his half brother, and his children Dylan, Roxann and Ninon. Michele and Jean Paul Genieys his cousins, and their children. Olga Rowkowski, his fiancé and her daughter Victoria. Magali Chauvin, his Daughter and Montana, his Portuguese water dog.
