David Michael Spearman

David Michael Spearman, 58, of Naples, Florida passed away unexpectedly on May 9th, 2025. Born on August 13, 1966, in Dearborn, Michigan, David moved to Naples at age 2, where he embraced the vibrant Florida lifestyle that shaped his life. After graduating from Naples High in 1984, he began his career with the beach patrol before dedicating 25 years of service as a police officer to the City of Naples, where his commitment to the community was unwavering.

David was a devoted father to his two children and two grandchildren, he will be deeply missed by his family, friends and the Naples community. David is survived by his son (Adam Spearman), daughter (Alissa Spearman), two grandchildren (Isabella and Ariana Garcia) as well as his brother (Donald Spearman), sister (Debbie Strickland), Aunt (Barbara Hardy) Niece (Emily Strickland), Nephew (Shaine Strickland) Cousins (Christina and Jeff Hardy). He is preceded in death by his father and mother (Mickey and Mary Spearman). A viewing has been scheduled for May 15th from 4:30 to 6:30 PM at Hodges Funeral Home (525 111th Ave N, Naples, FL, 34108) in North Naples. At the conclusion of the viewing we will be holding a celebration of life.
