

She had been a Naples resident since 1957, formerly of Birmingham, England. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence in 1987.
She and her husband Clarence, were the owner of the Bus Station Restaurant and Sugar 'N' Spice Restaurant in downtown Naples in the 1950's and early 1960's. In the 1980's she was employed at The Frock and Frill Dress Shop on Third Street South, for twenty-five years, which she enjoyed and met and made many friends.
In addition to traveling overseas and to England many times to see her family, she also loved her summer holidays in Lake George, New York. One of her favorite enjoyments was having her weekly lunch dates at Brambles Tea Room in Naples with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann (Dan) Monaco, of Naples, two granddaughters, Julie (Patrick) Berry, of Nashville, TN and Laura Fisher, of Naples and great-grandchildren, Leslie, Abbie and Ellie Berry and Kyle and Danielle Fisher, and many nephews and nieces and friends in England.
The family would like to thank her private caregivers, Avow Hospice, and Dr. Gary Sporn and his wife, Dawn, for their care and kindness.
In accordance with Doreen's wishes, there will be no funeral services, but a Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
