
Dorothy M. (Albert) Haynes, 85, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, September 24, 2013. She was born May 25, 1928 in Pennsylvania. She is survived by her beloved family: husband, Claude Haynes, sons; Michael (Phylis), Craig (Jean), and Ty (Nancy) Osman, step daughter, Liz Turner (Oscar) Lowe and step sons, Spencer (Heather) and Allen Haynes, 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. In addition, she is survived by a sister (Rose White) and a brother (Jimmy Albert), as well as many nieces, nephews and other close friends and family. Dorothy was preceded in death by her mother, father, two brothers, and one grandson.
Dorothy grew up in Patterson, NJ and moved to Miami, FL in 1945. In 1946 she married Austin O. Osman. She worked at Milgo Electronics while raising her three boys.
In 1982 Dorothy married Thorton F. Turner and they moved to Naples, FL in 1997 until his death in 2001. She was a dedicated Christian and member of Naples Church of Christ. In 2004 Dorothy married Claude Haynes and continued residing in Naples until her death.
Dorothy will be missed by her family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dorothy’s memory to the Ty2 Foundation, 4539 Trousdale Drive, Nashville, TN 37204.
Memorial service for Dorothy Haynes will be held on Saturday, September 28 at 11 am at Naples Church of Christ, 12760 Livingston Road, Naples, FL 34105.
