

Survived by his wife Sylvia (Pearlstein) Sherman; children, Steve (Mimi), Neal (Pam); grandchildren, Robert (Francesca), Sam, Zachary & Eliza; step children, Dr. Robert (Kay) Pearlstein, Alan (Roberta) Pearlstein; step grandchildren, Molly, Ann (husband Palmer and daughter Linden) Seeley, Kevin (Michelle), Jack, Drew (Emily and daughters) and Morgan. Elliott was pre-deceased by first wife Sylvia (Boyland) Sherman, his parents Sidney and Frieda Sherman and sister Priscilla (Sherman) Littman.
He served in the United States Navy as an officer achieving the rank of Lieutenant during World War II after receiving his commission from the V12 program at Cornell University. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Colgate University in 1947.
Before retiring to Florida in 1986, he resided in Geneva, New York and for 25 years operated three Napa Auto Parts stores in the Finger Lakes.
He was a proud member of Rotary International, the American Legion & the Jewish War Veterans.
