Our sincerest condolences to the Hebert family. Ernie was a great guy and loved his family dearly. The last time we saw Ernie and Nancy was in Naples a couple of years ago, we spent a day together over lunch and swimming and had a wonderful time. He was full of life, happy and more relaxed than I'd seen him. He and Nancy loved being in Florida. Dave and I were looking forward to seeing them again when we go down in October.
We're lucky we got to spend the time we did with him.
He'll be missed by all who knew him.

Uncle Ernie, my godfather was larger-than-life and shared so much of himself with others selflessly.
He had great stories, a bold laugh, quick wit, beautiful penmanship, a huge heart that only a Harley could contain,
loyal brother to all and was fearless in his fashion, politics and faith. His legacy is his love of family.
He is now in Heaven taunting his brother Marc while respectfully listening to Memere and hoping Pepere will suggest they all stop and read the newspaper.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May they rest in peace.

Thank you Ernie for all you did for me and my family by helping me to get hired by the Barnstable County Sheriff's office. You were a great man who was well respected may you rest in peace and God Bless you and your family! Love you.

May I offer my condolences to each of you.
I knew Ernie from the Dennis community as well as working at "the clink" for a short time.
Ernie was one of the kindest, gentlest, true Christian men that I have ever been honored to meet.
Thank you for sharing him with us. 💜
