He is survived by Ebby Padilla, his loving wife, and their four beautiful daughters: Melanie (13), Melissa (12), Melinda (9), and Melodie (6), as well as his sisters: Yashira Marie Miranda, Yakira Miranda, Yadira Miranda, and Yadriana Miranda. He is also survived by his father Felix Luis Miranda Gonzalez, his stepfather Enrique Miranda and several nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved very much. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Aurea "Tery" Teresa Gonzalez.
Felo was married to Ebbi for over 15 years, and they shared so much love for each other and their daughters. Felo loved being a father and his girls were his world. He loved taking them on fishing trips, along with his nieces and nephews.
He was so hardworking, caring, and loving. He always put others' needs before his own. He was a very outgoing, active and natural athlete. He had the most adventurous spirit and was never scared of trying new things.
Felo was full of life, light, love and joy. He was a spirited storyteller and loved to make us laugh, and drive us crazy, all at the same time. He would strike up conversations with anyone and had a warm way of making you feel like you knew him forever, even if you had just met.
He was very close to his mother, Tery, and after her passing, Felo struggled greatly with overcoming such a profound loss. We wished we could have taken his pain away. We didn't know how to help him, but we loved him intensely just the same.
We will miss his stories, his smile, his bright spirit. We as a family encourage anyone struggling with their mental health to please seek help. Reach out to your family, to your friends, to your community. Please get help wherever you feel safe, because regardless of how alone you may feel, there are people who will listen and people who can help. And you matter so very much.
A funeral service for Felix will be held Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave N, Naples, FL 34108.
