In late August of 1963 I met Gary as a pledge brother.  Since then I have only great memories of the time we spent together.  I am proud of his accomplishments and the values he lived by. I know he loved Linda and his family most of all. We will miss him and his great personality.

Gary was my dad's cousin.  I only met him once when my son and I had lunch with him after my Aunt Pam's funeral and we talked about our Drook family history.   I was so impressed with his knowledge of our family history.  He was a very thoughtful, intelligent, engaging, and kind man.  Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

My wife, Connie and I remember Gary very well as we both worked at Indiana Bell and Ameritech. Gary played a significant role in my own career. Born and raised In Fairmount, IN, I very much related to Gary’s values and beliefs. It is a sad day learning of his passing yet it brings a smile to my face remembering his laughter, humor, and oh so big of heart.
