Gil befriended my mother who visited Naples during the winter months and my step-father who lived in Naples year-round.  Gil always offered a helping hand whenever needed.  My mother always spoke very highly of Gil and when I met her it didn’t take me long to realize that she was a true friend and as genuine as they come.  Gil helped me with some of my own struggles through the years.  I will always remember her gentle voice and kind words.  Gil was the kindest person I knew.  

To the family and friends of Gil. Keeping you all in our warmest thoughts while you navigate this difficult time. Wishing you all find peace and healing when you’re ready.

Dear Precious Family, 
When I learned of your Mum’s passing, like everyone else, I was shocked. 
Stunned!
So deeply Saddened 😔 beyond measure. 
She was elegant, quietly friendly, caring and  exemplary in her spiritual life. 🕊
I came to know her through her devotion to the Rosary when we gathered along Rt 41 -a ragtag group of Prayer Warriors- on the 4th Saturday of the month to pray for our Nation and the unborn at risk of abortion. Despite the sweltering heat, your Mum was there, honoring Our Lady. 
How befitting to learn that she entered the world on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception… and that she was called home during the Holy Season of Advent 🕯️
I’m reminded of the words of an Emily Dickinson poem… 
              “My friends are my estate…” 
She gathered them where e’re she went. 
We are all blest to have been apart. 
God rest her ~ God love her.

Dear Danny, Sarah, Polina Jill, Brandi, Joe, Dominick, Deanna, Jillian, Joanna, Mia, Anthony and Randy - I was so terribly sorry to hear of Gil's untimely death.  I regret that she and I didn't take the time to become closer friends, but our warm acquintance and shared love of our Catholic faith and our patriotic and pro-life activities in Naples go back MANY years.  More recently, I was edified to find myself attending the Traditional Latin Mass with her on a regular basis.  My heart will always carry treasured memories of Gil's warm, kind, ready smile and instant charity whenever she was called upon.  I greatly miss her already.  Please accept my deepest condolences to you and to all who loved her.  Be assured of my ongoing prayers for her beautiful soul.  I haven't the slightest doubt that she lived in great, close intimacy with the Heart of Jesus and His Blessed Mother, and that Our Lord called her Home with all His irresistible love.

Gil was a bonus mom to me since I became fast besties with her daughter in Kindergarten. I am so thankful for the impact that she had on my life and the love that she gave to me and my family over the years. Through the good and hard times, I will forever treasure Gil in my heart.

Our condolences to all of Gil’s family as we all begin to process Gil no longer with us. She was the kindest, most welcoming neighbor. She shared from her heart whether it was pruning tips, electricians, a smile and an “are you doing okay?”or a helping hand. Gil exuded kindness and set an example for all of us.  Our ladies of 98th lunches at the Patio were legendary not only for their depth but mostly their length! Gil was one of those rare people you don’t meet very often, the real deal. I am happy to  have crossed paths with her, and extend our condolences to her family.
