Glenn M. Taub

Glenn M. Taub was born in Highland Park, Michigan to Edward Taub and Norabel (Weiss) Taub. He was one of five siblings, Sylvia, Shirley, Calvin, Patricia and Priscilla.

Glenn was a Petty Officer 2nd Class in the Navy during WWII from 1944 to 1946. He was a graduate of the University of Detroit and the Detroit College of Law. Glenn worked as an attorney for an insurance company before entering into a law partnership known as Taub and Still for 30 years.

He married the love of his life, Mary Ellen O’Brien in 1951. They were blessed with three children; Michael, Kathleen (Richard) and Glenn, Jr. (Carol). Also blessed with six grandchildren; Erica (Joe), Michael (Amber), Katie (Paul), Bobby (Joe), Crystal, Nicole (Tommy) and ten great grandchildren; Miyah, Hannah, Natalie, Michael Jr., Maggie, Alex, Christopher, Caitlyn, Connor, Tyler and Hunter.

Glen and Mary Ellen continued to live in the Detroit area while also enjoying time at Wamplers Lake in the Irish Hills Brooklyn, Michigan before retiring to Naples, Florida. Glenn and Mary Ellen were married for 61 years until her passing in 2012 when he relocated to the Pensacola, Florida area.

He was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, music, social groups and spending time with family and friends.

A Funeral Service was held at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church on Tuesday November 17, 2020 at 10:00 am before going to his final resting place with his wife in Naples, Florida.
