H Thomas Erbland

Dr. H. Thomas Erbland of Naples, Florida formerly of Rochester, New York. Tom was a graduate of the University of Michigan before entering the Navy as a Lieutenant. Known to many as Dr. Tom, his Dental practice in Rochester, NY led him to do volunteer work in many Rochester area clinics and in Haiti. He continued his volunteerism in Naples, FL with Habitat for Humanity and NCH Hospital. A soft and gentle manner was his trademark…always a smile. He will be remembered by many as a loving and kind man who cared deeply about his family. He will be missed by all who had the opportunity to know and love him.

Tom is survived by his wife, Carol Stoffel Erbland; his children, David C. Erbland (Mary), Elizabeth A. Hofmeister (David), Judith M. Penders (Steven); his grandchildren, Henry and Lucas Erbland, Conner and Lily Hofmeister, Kyle and Bridget Penders; many nieces and nephews; former daughter-in-law Stacey Freed (Jeff) and former wife Anne McGhee (Jim). He was predeceased by his son, Thomas D. Erbland, his brothers Robert and John Erbland, and a sister, Elaine Gotham.

A memorial mass will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 625 111th Ave. North, Naples, FL 34108 on Friday, May 13th at 10:00a.m.
