 I was shocked to hear of Harleys' passing since we had just talked about the great time he had visiting with his family in Michigan. He was a fine gentleman and a good friend and I will miss his calls. Bob Schade, Saginaw, MI

Aunt Dorothy, We are saddened at the news of Harley's passing and would like to extend our sympathy to you and Harley's family. He was a special person.  Wayne was always impressed with his knowledge of major league baseball-in fact the last time we saw him, Wayne showed him his picture taken with Carl Erskine and Harley knew all about Carl Erskine.  He never missed a beat.  Harley lived life to the fullest and always seemed so positive.  The world is a better place because he made it that way!  
    We will keep you and his family in our prayers as you go through this time of grieving.

Harley loved playing bridge and was loved by both partners and opponents at the Naples Bridge Center.  We will miss him greatly!

Our deepest Christian sympathies at this time.  Harley was a very dear friend of my parents.  He and Dad played a lot of golf together.  May God comfort you with his sure and precious promises of the resurrection of the body and eternal life!

Harley attended so many Julien family events that he became a member of our family.  Weddings, funerals, Tigers baseball and M football games, July 4 and all those summer weekends at the family cottage, Christmas Eve at my mother's condo and later my house, and many pontoon boat rides around Big Whitefish Lake.  Harley loved people and life.  At his very well-attended (we should all have so many family and friends when we are 90!) 90th birthday party Harley danced more than anybody else in the room! But Harley  became most animated about his little great grandson Jake.  It was fun to listen to him go on about Jake.  We will celebrate Harley's long life well-lived, but we'll miss him too.
