Hiroshi Chiwaki

Hiroshi Chiwaki, age 67, of Naples Florida passed away peacefully on July 6th, 2017 with his wife and sons by his side. He was born on Feb 18, 1950 to the late Fumiko and Yoshiji Chiwaki in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Hiroshi moved to the United States in 1975 working as a chef in various states such as New York and Michigan until he settled in South West Florida and met his wife Linda of 32 years.

He was a resident of South West Florida for over 34 years and began working at Daruma in Naples as a Hibachi chef in 1990, quickly working his way to his current position of head chef. He was passionate about his work in the culinary profession through which he developed a deep connection with the community over the past 34 years. He loved connecting with his coworkers and interacting with his customers.

Hiroshi is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Linda; sons, Kevin (Jennifer) and Steven (Randi MacLeod); and grandchildren, Dominic, Alyvia, and Parker. He will be greatly missed but will remain in our hearts forever.
