The world has lost a very special lady. I will remember Jan throughout my life, as I child she guided me and gave me hope, it is with deep sadness that I must say goodbye to a truly wonderful soul. The wonderful things she did in life will be remembered for a very long time to come.

I was saddened to hear of the loss of Jan...she was my clinical supervisor at Family Service of Waukesha when I began there in 1999.  Not only was she my mentor, but my friend. Barb and I were privileged to be part of Jan's journey through life.  We remember the trips to northern Wisc., the dinners at your Wales home and  funeral conventions get togethers. I think Jan was part fish when we watched the video and most of the photos had water in the background. John, you certainly are in our prayers and when the time is right, hope to see you in Arizona. Seeing Jan as a child again in the photos brought me back to our days in the 50's when our friendship began in 2nd grade.  The photos afforded a brief history of the Jan we knew and loved.  Each day since she died has brought another flood of memories, the best of which happened when we lived together for a few precious months before she moved to the Caymans.  Life has been made richer by sharing decades of experiences with Jan and John.  Seeing her again here in the photos reminds me that she was a vital, vibrant being whom it has been a deep joy to have known.  Thank you John, for sharing her with us and for these reminders of her life.

John I was sadden when I saw Jan had passed away. When I think of Jan I remember her warm smile and her friendly voice. I think of someone like her  who had a big impact on people lives . Someone who made a difference with their life. Her footprint in this life can  be felt by those she helped and those that knew her. I 'm sorry for your great lost.

We were so sad to hear of Jan's passing.  She was such a sweet neighbor and will be missed by her Pinewater family.

I was so sorry to hear of Jan's passing, but hers was a life well-lived, and as good a death as she could have had under the circumstances. I will miss her a lot. I hope (and firmly believe) that she is now surrounded by beloved family, friends and especially pets who have gone before.

Dar John, remember the wonderful times we spent upstairs from the funeral home.  Life has gone along itsway;,and I am now widowed,Don died in 20ll  I have pulled up stakes and moved to Az. to b near my only son.  I love it here, ;and am busy doing charity work 5 days a week. We know you will have the love and support of friends and family to help you through this very difficult time. Jan was a fun loving, upbeat, friendly woman who endeared herself to many. Dorothy and I feel such a loss. Jan had so looked forward to, not just traveling to Quebec, but in her continuing vocal involvement with Voices of Naples. She contributed so much to the ensemble. Everytime I looked to her side of the group, she was always watching with a spark in her eyes and a lilt in her voice. Hugs for the two of us never were in short supply. She approached Dorothy before and after every concert with so much enthusiasm and warmth. I will miss her so very much. She will be remembered this year throughout every rehearsal and concert. I have requested that we dedicate one of the concerts this season in her memory. While we are physically in Quebec, our hearts are with you.
