From fun in Avalon, parties in Springfield, Pa and happy hour in Naples, thank you for sharing your life and love with our family. I love you and miss you so much already! I will never forget when I used to call you when I was a little girl and tell you jokes. I always talk about how beautiful, glamorous, fun and caring you were. I always asked my mom if she was sure you and Pop Pop weren't movie stars. Your memory will live on through all the stories and your delicious cooking - mac and cheese, pot roast, and beef stew and dumplings. I know you are with Pop Pop, your true love, and you are both looking down on us smiling. I will see you again one day.

RIP...I remember working for Mrs. Babinsky @ Sandpiper in Avalon.she was a vibrant beutifull lady.  Always a joyous smile and yes she loved her pets. She also had 3 handsome sons. Walt was a great guy and I also remember his dad making all the delisious soup. Wow  feels like yesterday. Avalon has changed..but memories remain. Joan,so nice spending time with you the two weeks I was in Naples. Won't say good-by by but will say I'll see you not soon, I hope but in time along with my brother Charles.

Joan, I enjoy reminiscing about the fun times had from the first day I came to know you (and Walt) at the Young family cottage in OC, NJ. I will always remember you as one of Mom (and Al) Young's closest friends who kept friends close to heart, enjoyed life on whatever terms life dealt, your deep voice, memorable laugh and smiling face.
