My mother Marion Marston always spoke kindly of Dr. B and had the greatest respect for him.

A respected surgeon and a long time friend of my in laws Robert and Rita Crabb  of Essex, CT (who are now deceased). He was known for his compassion for the patient, skill as a surgeon and a twinkle in his eye that made you smile for the day.
May his family have wonderful memories and peace to know that his skills brought extended life to others.

I was a patient of Dr. B. at the age of 29 he performed two operations on me, he was just wonderful. Dr.B. is a kind and compassionate man  he will surely be missed. My condolences to the family. I always loved his smile and laughter which always made you feel better.

Dr. B was a treasure. A true gentleman and compassionate man. I remember when he came to Middlesex Hospital many years ago and it was a pleasure to work with him.

My dad always had great respect for the Doctor

He saved my life....He will be richly rewarded for being the man and doctor he was. Since sympathy to his family and to Dr. Dwyer who lost his life long friend.

It was my privilege and pleasure to have worked with Joe over the years at Middlesex Hospital. He was one of my favorite surgeons and individuals there.
