My dear friend, I still miss meeting you in Publix and walgreens. Seems you were there every time I was. It made us laugh thou. I know you are peace now and that is even comforting to me. I know you are smiling down on me and telling me to stay strong. I can almost hear you. I am doing just that. I have no choice. You will always be in my heart and I love and miss you still.

Our sweet Laverne. I think of you and miss you every day. I know you are with your family and even mine. Especially our Freddie Flintstone. Thank you for your love, your kindness and your wonderful heart. I will always miss you. I love you.

LaVerne was such a kind warm soul. She was my neighbor for years and was a great one. I'll never forget one Christmas party and she came with her lovely friends and charoled for us. May God bless you and yours. 

Few women I have ever known could compare to the indomitable love  and compassion that Laverne had for the Lord and for others.  For her every situation good or bad was a chance to see how God would work in someone's life . Her motto in ministry was( to quote Corrie-Tin-Boon) " No sin is so deep that God's grace isn't deeper" and how she showed it to many.  I learned much from Laverne about patience, prayer and trusting God in those valleys of life. Some day we will all be with you Laverne and we will have the greatest "Overcamers" meeting in heaven. But until that day, thank you  for leaving those footprints  for others to follow and  teaching us all how to be Overcomers.

Laverne was a very special human-being in the minds and hearts of so many people. She had "supernatural" strength and abilities in all that she accomplished and with a profound and very personal way of expressing her love and concern for others with the "Joy of the Lord" always.   
   Our love and prayers go out to family and friends-from daughter Deborah & son Paul.

Grandma Paul you were a bright and shiny light here on earth and i know you will be shinning bright as an angel in heaven you will be missed very much I love you kiss grandpa marty and debbie for me. love you Eve

LaVerne you a a brite star shining in the night sky watching upon us ,I'm thankful for you and your family being apart of my life I always show people the cards you have sent me over the years I cherish them . With all my heart you will be missed .

LaVerne was such an example to me of someone obedient to the call of Christ on her life.  You felt His presence just being around her.  We are praying for all of you.
