In 1961, Caridad, also known as Ama or Abuela by family, came from Cuba to the United States. She shared her selfless love with her fortunate son, daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren among others. In her retirement, she enjoyed watching her Spanish novelas in the comfort of her daughter Diana Fricke’s home. She found peace in the lives she provided for her loved ones and through this solace met her passing.
She is survived by her daughter, Diana; a son, Jesus Antonio Alvarez and spouse Joy; five grandchildren—Cathy Alvarez and spouse Karen, Jennifer Alvarez Linguidi and spouse Dennis, Andrew Fricke and spouse Alexandra, Ryan Fricke, and Nicholas Fricke; and four great-grandchildren—Braden Alvarez, Daylin Alvarez, Skyler Alvarez and the newly added Jaden Linguidi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Alvarez, and daughter Xiomara Alvarez. She leaves many other loving nieces, cousins, remaining family and friends whose lives she forever changed.
The services will be held on Thursday, April 20 starting with the church service at St. Peter's at 2p.m., located on 5130 Rattlesnake Hammock Rd, Naples, FL 34113.
