Lois Jane Benfield

Beloved mother and grandmother, Lois Benfield, 86, of Naples, FL peacefully passed away June 13, 2018.

She was born in Burke County, NC on January 28, 1932. She moved to Naples in 1952 with her husband and the Benfield family. Lois was a dedicated Publix employee having worked at the Naples Shopping Center Publix for 37 years.

Lois was most proud of raising four sons, Michael (Suzie) of Naples, Ron (Lorelei) of Blairsville, GA, Steve (Jackie) of Naples, Keith (Elizabeth) of Naples. She was a devoted grandmother to Luke, Mark, Ronny, Jody, Hollie, Jonathan, and Jared and great-grandmother of Ellie and Kaitlyn.

Visitation will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave N, Naples, FL 34108 with a service at Noon. Interment will be at a later date.

Lois was a great friend and mentor to me when i worked with her at Publix 76.she was backbone and icon for that store. You will be certainly missed and my condolences go out to her family.

Lois, what a wonderful lady you were. I first met her in the 70's when Publix transferred me to Naples. She has always been a part of my heart. I best memories was working with Her, Lorain, Vickie and Jay. We always had a good time together. She was family. Love You Lois, Til we meet again.

Lois was one of kindest most hard working people I had the privilege of knowing. She was always the first to step in and help when you needed help. The world has lost a beautiful Lady and she is now heaven's sweet Angle. Rest in peace Lois you have earned it. Paula
