Margaret Mary Duff

Margaret (Peggy) Duff of Naples, Florida passed away on March 25th. Peggy was born in Chicago, Illinois to Thomas and Winifred Casey. Together with her 9 brothers and sisters the family eventually settled in Montclair, New Jersey where she graduated from Immaculate Conception High School. Peggy met the love of her life John Robert (Bob) Duff and together they raised 5 children in Cedar Grove, New Jersey during their 30-year marriage.

Peggy was very active with both her Church and Rotary Ann’s. Peggy was an avid golfer, bowler and loved the theatre. She and Bob were member of Rock Spring Club in West Orange, NJ where she served on various committees. Besides being a competitive bridge player, Peggy, who had a great sense of humor, cherished playing card and board games with family and friends. She was always ready to travel whether by plane or cruising the oceans.

Peggy is survived by her children: Mary Kay (Thomas), Eileen (David), Betty Ann (Matthew), John Robert Jr. (Christy), along with beloved grandchildren: Katie, Emma, Bobby, Maggie, Christopher and Michael and three step-grandchildren Melissa, Megan (Matthew) and Matthew (Anne). She was preceded in death by her husband John Robert Duff, daughter Sheila.

Services will be detailed at a later date and held at St. Catherine of Sienna Church in Cedar Grove, with interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair, New Jersey.
