Marita was born on December 27, 1948 in Cartavio, La Libertad, Peru to the late Enrique and Raquel Gomez-Sanchez Anderson. She graduated from Colegio San Jose de Cluny and received a BA in Social Services from Pontificia Universidad Catolica Del Peru before working as a Social Worker.
She was a member of the Rotary Club Lima Sunrise, Peru. Marita had a passion for genealogy, having written a book describing her family tree.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Kenneth, her loving children Alistair E. Clay and Natasha R. M. Clay and her sisters Frecia Quintana Gomez-Sanchez and Teresa Añaños Gomez-Sanchez.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 11th at 10:00AM at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens, 525 111th Ave. N, Naples, FL 34108
