Many years had passed when i did have the opportunity to see Mario again as an adult.  I was particularly impressed by his relaxed cool demeanor and solid steadfast character. It was easy to see how he was a terrific husband, Dad and grandfather- a true family man. I know he will be truly missed. Our deepest condolences to all the Nuzzolese family and friends. Peace be with you all.

One of my favorite people on this Earth, uncle Mario just made heaven a lot cooler. He always understood what I was trying to say, and he always had appropriate jokes or lines from movies to apply to our conversation. Of course I wish for more time together, but I cherish the time I was blessed with and am ever grateful to have such a man grace my family with his presence. Love you always and forever, best one♡♡♡.

In 2017 Mario drove up to Atlanta Georgia and we saw the Dixie Dregs together

Tomorrow we gather with to celebrate my brother Mario's life. I wanted to share this prayer for our loved ones who have already passed and especially my little brother Mario. 🙏🙏🙏

IN LOVING MEMORY OF MY COUSIN MARIO
Words, no matter how kind, cannot heal the heartache. Mario, it was nice to have known you. Someday we'll meet again. However, I wish comfort and peace of mind to those who cared for you. In silent sadness, I think of you all and wish you strength.

At my wedding May 28, 1983, Mario was Best Man, with Donny and Dennis as my groomsmen. We had a great time. This is one of my favorite pictures of Mario smiling.

I had to find this one. I remember the moments leading up to it and Aunt Cathy saying “ohhh”.  There was a barbecue on a cloudy day, Uncle Ralph and Aunt Cathy, Uncle Rich and his Cathy, Uncle Joe, Aunt Irma, John and Mario were there. 
I love these “old” photos. Love you all. 

Mario, how much fun we had at our Christmas visits with Uncle Rich, driving across Alligator Alley, listening to Zeppelin and talking about music and movies and politics and  joking around.  You had the quickest wit of anyone I know.  We also had so much fun with him at Yankee games.  You were always his favorite and I am sure you are having great times again together.

Here we are at the Christmas party Aunt Dee Dee used to bring us to.  We had so much fun and enjoyed the stockings full of candy and toys.  We talked about it often and always laughed about those great times.  I’m so grateful we got to share our lives together.

We never forget you.

Mario, you fought bravely. Your strength is a power of example for everyone whose life you touched.  May that same strength carry your family through this difficult time.  Dan and I will miss your texts on what’s going wrong with the Vikings, but where you are, they will win the Super Bowl every year, while the Islanders hoist the Cup each June.  My heart felt condolences go out to the Nuzzolese and Antonelli families and relations.  



My dear Mario. The beach, the bars, the city, movies, concerts, football, baseball (game 6 of the ‘86 series, thanks Uncle Ralph), hockey games, shooting pool…we did everything together.  Say hi to Uncle Frengie, Grandma, Grandpa, Oma and Opa, all our Aunts and Uncles, our Daisies, my parents.  I hope I get to see you all someday. 
My heart is heavy, but I have a lifetime of memories that will sustain me.
You knew me at my best and at my worst. You are my brother.

Since 1963 we were brothers doing everything and going everywhere and growing up together. I'm so thankful that Mario was my brother. He always stepped up whenever I needed help and always had a good, good heart! Mario has a great sense of humor and could always help me see the positive side of things. To say he will be missed is a giant understatement. Thank you Mario for being the best brother and friend I could ever have and a fantastic loving uncle who is loved more than you can possibly know.❤️🙏🙏🙏

My deepest condolences to Lisa and Nikki, Mario was a good friend when he lived in Ny.I have many fond memories of him .He was always a happy go lucky guy.he will be deeply missed

     You will be missed....you and Lisa balanced each other. Game nights were such fun.  So many memories around your kitchen table Colonel Mustard. And your Superbowl and New Years Eve parties were the best!!  So many fond and funny times to keep your memory alive. It's never good-bye if we can smile at the thought of you.
