Dear daughters and family of Mimi, Patty and I have known your wonderful MOM since the early 1980's when Hugh worked for John Dahlgren and was wiring our new apartments on San Carlos drive on San Carlos Island. She  was always cheerful and what we described to each other as a REAL LADY. She loved her mother and you girls deeply and spoke often of the times she had with you. We live in upstate New York and do not get the fla news as soon as we sometimes would like so we apologize for our tardy response to your Mom;s passing. JIM AND PATTY RAY, Newfield, NY

Clara and family,I am so happy I got to know your mother and family as a young girl. Mrs. Robinson was a great friend to my family when we lived in Fort Myers Beach.  She helped my mom a lot and was very sweet to my sister and I.  We will keep your family in our thoughts.

I am so sorry for your loss. I can only say that Mimi must have been a wonderful woman and mother. Patty is a great mom and she must have learned those skills at home. I enjoyed talking to your mom while she visited South Carolina and I appreciated her Wit and sense of humor. Alas, the visits are never long enough and I did not get to know her as well as I would have liked before her passing but I did get a glimpse of Patty through her eyes and in this sad time sometimes that is the most comforting thing to have. Prayers for the family.

I met Mimi thru Winnie Yordy and visited with Mimi on my yearly trips to the Beach.  She was a fun loving and honest person....especially when she sincerely told me "...when you drive through "Little Havana", don't speak Spanish...they won't understand you...". I had the privilege of working with Mimi at the Beach School.  She was a special person that loved kids and life itself.  She will be missed by many that she touched during her life here.  RIP.
