Norman, known to many as “Punch”, was born and reared in Everglades City. After graduating from Everglades High School, Norman went on to serve his country in the United States Army. In 1964, Norman settled in Naples, Florida, where he worked with Collier Development before graduating from the University of South Florida and opening his own accounting business. His greatest joys were boating, fishing and camping with family and friends. He loved working his crossword puzzles on Sunday mornings (completing the New York Times in pen). His off-the-cuff humor is what his family will miss the most. He used to say, “ When I pass, I think it will be a great adventure.”
Norman is survived by his his wife Joanie of 54 years, his three daughters Lorri Maturo, Donna Morse (Keith), and Molly Morse (Ken), his seven grandchildren Brian Maturo, Allen Bacon, Hannah Morse, Courtney Morse, Julia Morse, Madison Morse and Hazen Morse. His sister Judy Humphrey, his niece Arlene Cioffi (Lou), Phillip Humphrey (Karin), and Mark Humphrey. He was preceded in death by his Father Norman Allen Herren Sr and mother Jane Herren (Baker).
He was loved by all and we know that this will be his greatest adventure yet!
