Being next door to Pat for many years at Cypress was always a pleasure . We shared the love of reading and we shared many ideas regarding current literature we were discussing. She was gracious and kind and throughout the summers, there were times she would b the only person staying at Cypress. It was always reassuring that all was well as I would drive down for a visit. Her diplomacy was legendary in Naples. For the many years that she worked for the Port Royal Association she was an asset and respected and well liked by all. She often served as President of the Board of Directors of Cypress Condo and she accomplished her goals with ease and grace. She weathered many milestones with my family and was especially friendly and kind to my grandchildren when they visited. Often when I had a sleepless night she would b up also. As I sat outside my door she would open her kitchen door and we would have a visit. She loved her family and her trip to visit family was always a highlight for her. I, along with the many people who cared for her, will miss her. Godspeed to you Pat. You lived life on your terms and you made Naples a better place for many. I will miss the light in the window every night you were here but am sure the Heavens are brighter because you are there. With sympathy to the family and regards to each of you.   Suzie Benton

We are so sad today to know that Patty is no longer with us.  We will truly miss her, especially on the holidays. Patty was always so sweet and thoughtful to treat our boys as if she was their aunt that as little boys they called her "Aunt Patty". What a good person, with such a kind heart. It now gives us solice to think of her as being with her beloved family.

So sorry to hear of Patty's passing!  She was such a wonderful person I came to know through the years delivering her mail when she worked for the Port Royal Offices on 8th Ave.  she was always happy and treated me like family!  We stayed in touch on Facebook after I switched routes 10+years ago.  She and her kind spirit will be missed no doubt.  Prayers to the family in this sad time.  - Mailman Joe

Joan and I will miss our dear friend and neighbor. Patty was a joy to see and talk to concerning just about any subject. She would surprise us with her chocolate chip cookies and her beautiful blue eyes and her charming smile was always there. We would say I will talk to you later by phone or in person and she follow with "I am afraid so" what a sense of humor she had.
We will miss Patty which we loved dearly.
