
After attending his beloved University of Notre Dame, he did graduate work at Seattle University and St. Louis University. He then taught American Political Theory, American Government, and Russian Studies at the under graduate level. In the mid 1960s his career turned to business, which took him all over the country and the world. In his retirement, his earlier years in education attracted him to help develop Royal Palm Academy, a Catholic grade school in North Naples, FL.
Pat's beloved family include his precious wife, Joanie, married 55 years ago in Seattle, WA and their seven loving children and families: Patrick Kirk, Jr.; Patrick III, Kylie, Morgan and Carson: Kelly (Dan) Florin: Dan, Brittany, Kristen, Brian, Kaitlyn, Michael and Anna and great grandson, Andrew: Erin (Patrick) O'Hearn; Megan, Patrick, Shannon and Ryan: Casey (Don) Stuart; Colin, Michael and Lauren: Brian (Rachel Nara) Kirk; Max, Molly, Jack and Patrick: Courtney (John) Klevanosky; Tommy, Kerrigan and Johnny: Mary Beth Kendra; Caroline, Quinn and Savannah:

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday November 7 at St. John the Evangelist Church at 1:00pm. The Rosary will be said before the mass at 12:30 next door at Hodges Funeral Home. There will be a reception immediately following the Mass also next door at Hodges.

LEAP teaches life skills to mentally disabled young adults in Collier County, FL. Pat was so happy to learn that LEAP was being formed to serve those with special needs in our community, especially granddaughter, Molly.
