Paul J. Liszewski

Paul John Liszewski, 82, of Naples, FL, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Born January 11, 1929 in Yonkers, NY, Paul was a graduate of the Saunders Trade School. He later worked at Boroughs Welcome for 11 years, and an additional 25 years as a Tool and Die Model Maker in the Environmental Engineering Department of Union Carbide. During his tenure there, he wa granted two patents. He was a semi-professional bowler and an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his beloved wifre of 59 years, Edith; three loving children, Eileen (Chris) Sullivan, Susan (Demetri) Papacostas, Paul Jr. (Jill); dear sister, Regina (Robert) Augustine; eight cherished grandchildren, Elizabeth , Amanda, Emily, Katherine, Nicholas, Zoe, Emerson Grance and John Hudson; and five great grandchildren, Myra, Jocelyn, Shane, Rylee and Peyton. Paul is preceeded in death by his parents, Walter and Mary; and siblings Stanley, Walter, Sophie, John, Teddy, Joe, Leo and Anthony.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 11:00am at Hodges Funeral Home at Naples Memorial Gardens. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Paul's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
