Richard served our country in the U.S.Army from December 5, 1950 until September 10, 1952. He was employed by Sunshine Biscuit, Woodmen of the World, Circle K and Naples Community Hospital. One of his biggest accomplishments was being a minister of the word of the lord throughout his life.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Bowen, his son, Richard E. Bowen, Jr., daughter, Tina Marie Bowen, father, Wesley Frederick Bowen, mother, Edna Pearl Bowen, brothers Wesley F. Bowen, Jr. and James N. Bowen, sister Cheryl E. Shaw and a grandson, Stephen Eugene Bowen.
He is survived by his sister, Bonnelee Paul of Columbus, Ohio and daughters, Cindy Lou Motz and Suzanne Parrott, both of Naples, FL.
