Ecclesiastes 8:15 – Eat, drink and be merry, for tomorrow you may die.
It is with heavy hearts that we share that Robert Charles Bulmer at the age of 46 passed away peacefully to heaven in the early morning hours of Thursday, July 23rd, 2020, of heart disease that was diagnosed too late. He was born in Ridgewood, New Jersey, on October 11, 1973. He is survived by his wife Amy Adell White Bulmer, his father George (Bob) Bulmer, his mother Paula Bulmer, his sister's family Jonathan & Robin Noël Jewell & girls, grandmother Evelyn Rouser (98), and sweet dog, Secret. Preceding Robert to heaven are paternal grandparents George & Erma Bulmer and maternal grandfather Charles Rouser.
Robert grew up in Oakland, NJ. He was named after his father (Robert Bulmer) and his grandfather (Charles Rouser) and the meaning of his name is “Bright Warrior / Shining Fame”. He moved to Connecticut and met his wife, Amy Adell White. They were married TWICE to each other in 2008 which of course was a favorite story for Robert and his bride. Two countries and two celebrations, in true Robert style. While in Connecticut Robert made many accomplishments and many friends. Robert & Amy then relocated to her home in Newfoundland, Canada, and have resided there for the last 11 years. Robert recently relocated to Naples, FL, to establish a new foundation in the United States while he waited for immigration papers to pass for Amy to soon join him. He was one of the top sales at CarMax of Naples. However, Covid-19 changed those plans and was prolonging Amy’s US arrival indefinitely. His disappointment and anxiety of not being with Amy was too much for Robert’s broken heart.
Robert loved his wife (Amy), his dogs, his nieces, his family, fishing previously with his now deceased Grandfather Charles Rouser, and helping people “find what they were looking for.” He had a knack for warming people up and getting them to share then winning them for friends for life. He loved Fire (a total pyro), Jam Band and tropical rock music, singing karaoke, swing dancing, was gluten free, and an amazing cook, Salt Life, Ron Jon Surf Shop, cool sunglasses, camping life, secretly was a redneck, the beach, the mountains, Halloween, Christmas and any reason for costume parties, and of course the company of good friends. His favorite color was yellow, just like his shining star personality! He is now a shining star watching over each of us.
Robert, you have made such an impact on the people you are have been with for 46 years. You knew something about most everything and loved to talk about your passions. You always had a good joke and knew how to help people laugh…even about themselves. Our hearts ache of your sudden passing into the arms of our Lord, but we know we will see you again in Heaven. We are grateful for your kindness, generosity, sense of humor, your likeableness, your hospitality, your thoughtfulness, your love for your Bride Amy, and your passion for life.
LOVE bears all things, BELIEVES all things, HOPES all things, ENDURES all things. I Corinthians 13:7
