

Robert Lee “Duke” Johnson Jr., 67, of Naples, FL, formerly of Coconut, FL passed on June 25, 2017. He was born on October 15, 1949 in Ft. Myers, FL to Robert Lee Johnson Sr. and Mildred Jeanette (Smith) Turner.
Robert is survived by his wife Kathy Clifford of Naples, FL. Brothers, Joe (Nadereh) Johnson of Ft. Myers, FL and Grady (Pat) Johnson of Zolfo Springs, FL. Sisters Maggie (Lamar) Forbes of Sebring, FL and Jeanette (Marty) Ross of Dunlap, TN. Step-daughters, Caroline Keogh and Alyssa (Terry) Anderson of Naples, FL. Five grandchildren, three nieces, four nephews, two great-nieces, and two great-nephews.
Robert had a passion for Commercial Fishing. His entire working life, he was involved in the industry. After serving in the Navy, he returned to Collier County and worked as a Superintendent for a construction company. Following his construction career, he was given an opportunity to work for Collier County Sheriff’s Office as a Corrections Officer. He retired after 10 years and went back to working full time as a Commercial Fisherman.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 9:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at New Hope Ministries, 7675 Davis Blvd, Naples, FL 34104. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the church. Condolences may be left online at www.HodgesNaplesMG.com.
