Rodolfo was truly an amazing person. He was always super happy and i remember how much he cared about others. I feel like it was yesterday that i saw him working at school or with Rachel. He always had a smile on his face and just brought positive energy everywhere. What happened to him was truly a tragedy, and my heart goes out to Rachel and her family. It feels like yesterday we were all at the beach having fun. It all happened so fast and it’s so heartbreaking for something like this to happen to such a good person. He fought until the last second and i am happy he is no longer suffering. Rest easy. <3

I am a teacher at Cypress Palm Middle School and I remember Rodolfo for his kindness and caring. I remember bringing a vacuum cleaner to school to clean the rug in my classroom and having trouble with it because the plug was broken. Rodolfo brought in an electrical plug and changed the plug on the vacuum cleaner entirely on his own initiative and the kindness of his heart. I also remember he was always talking about his family. I will miss him very much. There are not enough people like Rodolfo in the world. My heartfelt condolences go out to the family on the loss of such a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.

My favorite memory with him was when we first met . He had a half built shed in the rear of his house and when speaking to me he was so serious telling me that he had the architectual plans and was currently working on finishing it. The entire time I was amazed saying wow that's great. Not knowing he was joking with me the entire time and nothing was actually being done. He was know for his sense of humor, sweetness and contagious smile. He will be missed.
