Ocampo Family:

We have lost a sweet soul and a fun-loving friend. Roland was always far more interested in what was going on in the live's of others then in talking about himself, and when you talked with Roland, he always made you feel like you were the most important person in the world. I will miss talking with my friend. As an angel once wrote to George Bailey: "Remember no man is a failure who has friends." Rest easy, Rol.

Roland will be sorely missed. I can still see him in his tennis warmups with his camera and his huge smile. Always encouraging others. He had quite a style. Roland was able to get along with anyone and everyone. I will miss my brother and never forget "Not four years, but a lifetime". Roland RIP God bless!!

Dear Family,
Roland was one of God’s shinning angels given to us to share attributes found in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. An honest and faithful family man with presence was his daily contribution. A devoted father, son, brother and friend will remain in our memories. His generosity was unparalleled, sharing his contagious laughter and the gift of magnificent storytelling. Roland was bigger than life with an engaging and charismatic demeanor; leaving a void to cherish. He touched my life for over 30 years, like a brother I never had. We worked hard and played hard with a spice of fun.

Although writing this note is painful, finding comfort in knowing an angel by the name of Roland V. Ocampo brings me joy. A man gifted beyond belief and my prayer is eternal peace for all who were touch by him.

To The Ocampo Family, please accept our sincerest condolences for your unfathomable loss. I had the privilege of working with Roland in the 1990's. He was my mentor and dear friend. His relentless words of encouragement and positive, can do attitude, still resonate with me today. I have so many fond memories of Roland, he was such a presence, his intelligence, that impeccable style of dress, the confident smile and the undeniable eye of the tiger when closing a deal. And his humor, I can confidently say that I have never laughed so much on a daily basis than I did back then, with Rol. And his Family, he was so proud of his Ocampo namesake and achievements, we heard about so many amazing accomplishments, a truly outstanding Family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours during this difficult time.
Respectfully yours, Richard and Diana Valenzuela

Good morning. My name is Ed Hubacher. I am an attorney in Northern Virginia and worked with Roland on many matters from 1992 until 2016 when he relocated to Florida. I hope you will find comfort in knowing that Roland was much beloved and respected by his clients, co-workers, colleagues and friends. I count myself as one of them. He will be greatly missed by all of us. RIP Rol.

My deepest sympathy to all of the family at this tragic time. I hope that you are all holding up as best can be expected. Looking at these photographs remind me of the times we spent in Virginia not long after I arrived in this country. Roland was someone we all looked up to and aspired to be like. That will be my lasting memory of him.
