Ruth Trulson, 91, of Naples, FL passed away on August 3, 2018. She was born June 30, 1927 in Omer, MI to Noah R and Alta M (nee Blue) Gordon. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank S. Trulson II in 1999, and John Wynn in 2008.
Ruth is survived by her son; Frank S (Pamela) Trulson III, daughter; Doralyn T. Trulson, grandsons; Carl “Tuffy” (Maria) Stewart, Spencer Stewart; step-son James Wynn; former daughter-in-law Candice Jo Wynn; and considered all the Wynn children as her own grandchildren.
Ruth started a bookkeeping service in Petoskey, MI and was partners in Trulson Realty. She was approached and accepted the offer by Northwestern Savings and Loan, headquartered in Travers City to start a new Branch in Petoskey. When the new branch was opened, she became the Vice President of NWSL. In the 1970’s she was again approached and accepted a position with Michigan National Bank in which she became the first female Vice President and was based in Travers City, MI. She was President of Zonta,and helped start Second Liners in Petoskey and Naples, FL. She was a member of the Red Hat Society for many years, and served on the Board of Realtors. Upon moving to Naples, she went into real estate and obtained her Brokers License. After many years serving her clients in Naples, she finally retired and enjoyed her family and friends.
