She was born January 24, 1950 in Oak Lawn, Illinois the daughter of George L. and Nancy J. Lamparter. Sally loved to travel and visit with family and friends. She was a graduate of Northern Illinois University and taught Special Ed classes in Chicago and was a Preschool Teacher at Moorings Presbyterian Church.
You knew Sally was in the room from her infectious laugh and her kind ways. She loved to snow ski in Colorado and travel in the motorhome. Sally was an avid sports fan and enjoyed Nascar, Cubs Baseball, and Chicago Bears football.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Lawrence J. Tibstra; children, Stephen G. (Liz) Tibstra, Jeffrey A. (Stefanie) Tibstra, and Laura C. (Kyle) Heaton; grandchildren, Molly, Cory, Kiera, Kadence, Cole, and Kallyn; sister, Nancy L. (the late Timothy) McLaughlin and Jolee A. (Ray) Zaagman; many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at 11:00 am at Moorings Presbyterian Church, 791 Harbour Dr, Naples, FL 34103.
