

Vic was born on May 7, 1958 in Plainfield, NJ to his parents Annette (Zambelli) Carfaro and the late Victor Zambelli. In 1976, Vic graduated from Dunellen High School where he played football and basketball. He later attended Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ and was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity. He played center for the Seton Hall Pirates football team. He also served as sacristan for the Seton Hall Chapel.
Following college, Vic purchased and operated Regan’s University Liquors in South Orange, NJ. The store was an integral part of the Seton Hall community.
He married his beloved wife, Laura, in 1985 and raised two beautiful daughters, Nina and Mia.
Vic worked as food and beverage director for the Seamen’s Church Institute of NY and NJ, which served international seafarers in the Port Newark area. The family moved to Naples, Florida in 1997. Vic worked for Samsonite in Sunrise, Florida as an area manager and store manager for eighteen years. He enjoyed training and mentoring new employees, many of whom went on to management positions within the company.
Vic was an avid sports fan of the New York area teams, especially the NY Giants and the NY Rangers. He was a supporter and fan of the Florida Everblades, where his daughters are captains of the Florida Everbabes dance and cheer team. In addition to being a sports fan, Vic was a supporter of his daughters’ various dance teams through college and beyond. He was a founding member of the “Prop Mafia” and provided backstage support for their numerous dance competitions.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Zambelli; his daughters, Nina Zambelli and Mia Zambelli; his parents, Annette and Clement Carfaro, Jr., and Beverly Zambelli; his sister, Jacalyn Blackman; his brothers, Clement Carfaro III, and Eric Zambelli; and his nephews and nieces, William Blackman, Jr., Madeline Blackman, Kayla Carfaro, Clement Carfaro IV, Jake Carfaro, and Amanda Zambelli; and his beloved rescue dogs, Vinnie, Stella, and bibi.
He was preceded in death by his father, Victor F. Zambelli, his brothers, Carl Zambelli and Gregory Zambelli.
