Voncile was born in Fort Myers to Herbert “Hub” Storter and Dolly Addison Storter on July 2l, 1933. She went to school in Naples. She married Charles Lee Tomlinson Jr. on October 14, 1955 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She graduated from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. She worked with several law firms and also worked as a specialist in the real estate industry in Florida.
Voncile is preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother in-law Marian and George McRae, daughter Patricia Ann, and grandson Edward C. Riley.
Voncile is survived by daughter Carolyn Denise Riley (Edward), son Charles L. Tomlinson III, granddaughter Kelly Riley, grandson Sean Riley, great grandsons Eddie Riley, Wyatt Felegie and Roman Kolias, niece Charity McRae Bertolo (David), and nephews George McRae (Beate) and Herbert McRae (Linda).
