Formally residing in Bayport, Wendy and her family moved to Virginia in 1995. While in Suffolk County Wendy had a thriving psychotherapy practice and helped many. Working for the Suffolk County Health Department Wendy received national recognition for a project to develop Informal Caregivers for the Elderly in the Community as presented by the National Association of Counties. Wendy received her Bachelor of Science with high distinction from Penn State University and her Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
