He was the son of Wilbert and Florance (Heintjes) Klepper. He married Elizabeth (Kelly) Klepper September 20, 1947 and shared a wonderful married life together for 64 years. She preceded him in death December 18, 2011.
Moved to Hawthorne, N.J. Wilbert operated a family owned auto parts, tire and service business in Hawthorne, retired in 1985 and moved to Naples, Florida in 1987.
Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Hawthorne, past Master of Masonic Lodge #212 in Hawthorne 1979. Past President of Masonic Past Masters Association. 32nd degree Mason and member of the Shrine. Past Grand Tyler of Masons for the State of N.J. 1981.
Member and served as Elder and Trustee at Lely Presbyterian Church in Naples, FL.
Wilbert leaves behind one son Dennis, daughter-in-law Laura (Brulfer) Klepper, two grandsons, Brian Klepper of Naples, FL and Christopher Klepper and his wife Anny (Han) Klepper of Greenville, South Carolina as well as a niece and several nephews.
Services will be held privately.
