It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Anthony Gioacchino Navarro, a young man of boundless energy, intelligence, compassion & a heart of Gold. Anthony was born on November 14, 1995 and was welcomed home by the Lord on June 1, 2026. Although he was only 30 years old he left such an impact and touched so many lives; Anthony was truly the best. Through his laughter, kindness, smiles and humor he never let anyone feel as they were alone. No matter what Anthony was your friend and biggest champion always.
Anthony fulfilled his knack for Mathematics when he attended Marist College and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics in 2017. He continued his love for Mathematics while working for Quest Diagnostics as a Senior Analyst. Anthony was an avid sports fan especially cheering on the New York Giants as a season ticket holder and cheering on the Napoli Soccer Team. He made everyone’s experience better by simply being a part of it, and will be deeply missed.
Anthony was a son, brother, the best uncle, nephew, cousin, grandson, boyfriend and an even better friend to those around him. Everyone who’s lucky enough to know him loved him. He was so filled with love and charismatic energy and lit up any room that he walked into. He took a deep pride in being a dog dad and loved his dogs Kylo and Creed as well as his dog nephews Titan and Rooster. He deeply loved his family, friends & girlfriend, especially being the best uncle A to his niece Hope.
He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
Anthony was predeceased by his father Gerard, his maternal grandparents, Gioacchino and Antonia, his paternal grandparents Anthony and Rita, his Aunt Mary, Aunt Antionette, Uncle John, Uncle Valentine, Zio Tony and cousin Jill. He is survived by his mother Flo, sisters Jaclyn (Ryan), and Gabrielle, niece Hope, countless aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and girlfriend Suzanne.
In lieu of flowers we encourage you to donate in Anthony’s name at St Jude’s Children’s research hospital.
