Doris M. Collins, of New City, passed peacefully on April 20, 2012. Doris was born January 22, 1925, in Bronx, NY, to Elsie and Emile Riedmuller. She married the love of her life, Don Collins. They settled in New City and raised their family. Doris enjoyed being with family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Doris is survived by her children Kenneth, Donna Grosselfinger and husband Terry, Robert and wife Jane, Jack and wife Doreen; her beloved 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Friends may call on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Services will be on Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at 11am, New City, followed by interment at Fred Loescher Veteran's Cemetery, New Hempstead, NY.
